The Potomac River Sports Foundation is proud to support local area Washington, DC athletes to the U19, U23, and U.S. Senior National Team. We are excited to see Potomac River continue its legacy of developing elite level rowers to the international stage. Without our PRSF donors, this Foundation would not be able to support our local athletes as they reach the national and international rowing stage.
Please consider supporting PRSF as all proceeds help these rowers with equipment, travel, and accommodations at these events. The 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles (Long Beach) are not far off. Currently we are focusing on supporting future Senior National Team members as they progress through the U19 and U23 stages.

In 2025, the U19 World Championships will be held in Trakai, Lithuania from August 6 through 10, 2025. Trakai is the course where the Lithuanian National Team trains. The U19 National Trials will be held on June 16 and 17, 2025 in Sarasota, Florida (immediately following the 2025 Youth National Championships).

The U19 Team will train for two months in Chula Vista, California. U.S. Rowing charges each athlete $6995 to train in Chula Vista and an additional $5495 for each U19 team member to race in Trakai.

The U23 World Championships will be held in Poznan, Poland from July 23 to 27, 2025. The U23 Women's Head Coach will be Sarah Trowbridge who formerly rowed at the Potomac Boat Club and was supported by the PRSF.

The 2025 Senior World Championships will be held in Shanghai, China from September 21 to 28, 2025. This year's championships will not include the Lightweight Pairs and Quad events but will add a new Mixed Eight event, which will comprise a crew of four men and four women.

The Senior National Team held Winter Speed Orders for the Men's and Women's single and pair in Sarasota, Florida in March 2025. Maggie Fellows won the Women's Single and Jacob Plihal won the Men's Single.
